hello!! here's a section i didn't think would be so hard to write - the intro to my website :) which i'm calling estate sale, because 6 years ago when me and my best bud tinho were starting a podcast and brainstorming channel names, i suggested estate sale and thought it was super sick. tinho hated it more than any other suggestion i had and i have been holding onto it ever since, patiently waiting for the day where i would have some project i could use it for
i decided to make a website because i'm a certified yapper with nowhere near enough interested parties in my life to get it all out to. i've got a lot to say and a lot to share and none of it is really all that important, so here we are. also, i miss the old internet, back when we had piczo websites and html out the ass myspace profiles and even the tumblr days (different era, same scouring the internet for html themes for your profile) in the early phases of planning this whole thing i stumbled upon the lil neocities community and it took me straight back to the early-mid 2000's internet that i so yearn for, and that was pretty much the end of that. so, all that is to say,

So what the hell is this?
i have a lot of ideas of things i want to post about and share on here, and i'm excited to get through them all. it is a lot though, so it'll take some time, but that's the fun of it! i'd really like for this to be a place that is slowly but constantly growing alongside with whatever is catching my interest or giving me the urge to share at any given moment
right now, i've been enjoying my new minecraft world, plus wading my way through the mud pit that is survivor 49, so those were the two immediate focuses i had when starting to build this site. but, like i mentioned up there, i've really fallen in love with the whole neocities community, html site building, old school internet vibe thing that i've stumbled into, and that is precisely how i ended up spending the first 2 weeks of my work on this thing just needling over html and css and working pixel by pixel to perfect some of the sprites and aspects of the layout. i've had a lot of help - big shoutouts to teppy, again - but i'm actually really proud and really excited about how this thing is starting to come together. so, needless to say (a phrase that i fucking hate for the record), the vibe of the site itself is becoming more and more important to me. i hope y'all can appreciate it too, and especially for people my age, i hope it gives you that lil nostalgia tingle we all get from the msn sounds and the windows xp ui and ipods and god damn we're fuckin old y'all
anyways, that's the end of that, my very first post is officially done (until i come and edit it 23 more times before going live), i'm hoping i can figure out a way to break this pink box into separate boxes for each post, but idk if it's possible.
